Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

Welcome!

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today Saturday 12/20/14

"For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands."  PSALM 92:4

When we are born in the Spirit, the changes in our lives are very clear and very obvious to ourselves and to those who knew who we once were. But after the initial changes, as we grow in the Lord, it can be difficult to see the changes He makes in us day by day. It is by taking snapshots of our lives over a period of time that the continued work of the Lord in us can be clearly seen. It is like watching your children grow up; day by day it is hard to see the changes, but compare this year's Christmas picture to last year's and the growth is obvious. When we consider the work God continues to do in us, how can we help but be glad; how can we help but triumph in the works of HIS HANDS in our lives? Therefore, give thanks and be glad for the wonderful works of the LORD in us, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 19:13-14

A foolish son is the ruin of his father, and the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.

Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
