Grace and peace to you.
We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."
Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

"And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all." ACTS 4:33
The apostles were able to bear witness to resurrected Lord. They had seen Him with their own eyes. They had seen Him beaten, nailed to the cross, and pierced. They heard Him dismiss His spirit and die. They had seen the place where He was buried and the empty tomb three days later. They had seen Him risen and in their midst for forty days. They had seen Him ascend back to heaven. But seeing with their eyes did not give them the power to be witnesses. Then where did they receive the power? Before returning to heaven Jesus said to them, "...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8) It was by the power of the Holy Spirit that they gave witness of the Son by the grace of the Father. How awesome it is to realize that God has given us the honor of sharing the Good News, the power to do it, and His great grace in doing so. This same Father has given to us this same Holy Spirit to be witnesses of this same Son. Let us then give witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And may His great grace be upon us all, in Jesus' name. Amen.
The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
