Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today Saturday 3/28/15

"I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches." PSALM 119:14

The testimonies of the LORD have a way in which they lead; always to a closer relationship with our God. Jesus Himself said that the Scriptures were given to be a testimony of Him; that every verse is given to show us Jesus and how He works all things together, from beginning to end, for an eternal plan of salvation offered to all. To all who believe in Him and receive His gift of salvation, the testimonies of the LORD become more valuable than all the riches that the world may offer. He alone gives eternal life, as it is written, "for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," than the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12) Rejoice therefore in the testimonies of the LORD; for we have become rich in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 20:25-27

It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, and afterward to reconsider his vows.

A wise king sifts out the wicked, and brings the threshing wheel over them.

The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of his heart.
