Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today- Wednesday 11/25/15

"...'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, and said, 'LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.' ..." 2 KINGS 6:16-17

We are so often overwhelmed by overestimating the resources of those who come against and underestimating our Resource. We see overwhelming numbers coming at us with the eyes in our heads and can waiver in our confidence. But we stand with the One who holds ALL things in His mighty right hand. Those who stand with the One can never be defeated by the many."Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5) May the LORD open our eyes today; that we may see and not be afraid; for greater is He that is in us than anyone or anything which comes against us. Praise the LORD!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

"Praying always with all    prayer and supplication            in the Spirit."

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 24:17-18

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;

Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him, and He turn away His wrath from Him.
