Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

"For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence." PSALM 21:6

There are many wonderful blessings which may come to people on earth. Those blessings which come can become opportunities for people to multiply the blessings to others. We have been blessed with the highest and most important blessing of all, the gift of life everlasting through Jesus Christ. This blessing does not fade and does not end; it is infinite, eternal, and forever. Now having been blessed with everlasting life through Jesus Christ, we are exceedingly glad because of our lives in Jesus Christ. He is present with us and in us forevermore. How wonderful to know that the One who created all things and gives life to all things is present with us and in us wherever we go! And knowing that He gave His life so that we could have life in Him, we ought always know with certainty that He will never leave us nor forsake us. When days are peaceful; He is with us. When days are troubled; He is with us. When we are on the highest peaks; He is with us. When we are in the deepest valleys; He is with us. When we are boldest; He is with us. When we have no strength to carry on; He picks us up and carries us on. We are truly most blessed forever! For we have the God who created us, living in us, and walking with us day by day; and we are exceedingly glad in the presence of our God. Amen!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 16:25-30

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

The person who labors, labors for himself, for his hungry mouth drives him on.

An ungodly man digs up evil, and it is on his lips like a burning fire.

A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends.

A violent man entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.

He winks his eye to devise perverse things; he purses his lips and brings about evil.
