Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

Welcome!

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today Friday 8/29/14

"He who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him." PSALM 32:10

There are many blessings for those who trust in the LORD. Among the blessings is to be encompassed in the love of the LORD. Knowing that we were created by Him and for Him, we also know that He pours out His love upon us without end. How easy it should be for us to trust Him with all our hearts! But many only trust in what they see with their eyes. We are a people who trust in a God who not seen with eyes but believed in by faith. Therefore, we who were born again by faith shall walk in faith knowing that one day we shall see the Author and Finisher of our faith face to face. For today, be blessed in knowing that He surrounds us with His love; for is our God and we are His people and that makes us the most blessed people in all the world. Praise the LORD!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 17:9-10

He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates friends.

Rebuke is more effective for a wise man than a hundred blows on a fool.
