Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

Welcome!

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today Wednesday 11/26/14

"How lovely is Your tabernacle O LORD of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." PSALM 84:1-2

How wonderful it is to enter the tabernacle of God, to come into the sanctuary of worship. Even the courts of the tabernacle bless the soul as we make our way into His holy place. Truly though, it is not the tabernacle of God we seek, but the God of the tabernacle. He is the One who loves us, guides us, and strengthens us. He is the One we have come to worship, to whom we give thanks, and to whom we lift up our hearts in praise. Better is one day in the house of God, better is one day in His courts, than a thousand days elsewhere. Come into the tabernacle of God; lift up your heart and soul, giving thanks and praise to the God of the tabernacle, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 19:1-3

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Also, it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge, and he sins who hastens with his feet.

The foolishness of a man twists his way, and his heart frets against the LORD.
