Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

"From the rising of the sun to its going down the LORD's name is to be praised." PSALM 113:3

How can we praise the LORD moment by moment, morning to evening day by day? Is it a matter of ending every sentence we speak with a "Praise the LORD"? No. Our relationship with the LORD is a personal, intimate relationship which is in the heart. It is always our hearts which matter most to the LORD. When we love the LORD with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength; don't you know that there is praise continually being lifted up within them for our God? The praise which proceeds from our mouths is the release of the inner activity in our hearts like the geyser "Old Faithful" is a release of the activity within the land beneath her. When our minds meet with our hearts and we begin to consider the goodness of God, the geyser within us releases praise from us like a fountain of living water! Oh the joy of the LORD within our hearts! Oh the love which flows through us from our God and to our God! Oh the praise which bursts forth from the rising of the sun to its going down; bring glory and honor to our King! Blessed be the name of the LORD forevermore!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread.

"It is good for nothing," cries the buyer; but when he has gone his way, then he boasts.

There is gold and a multitude of rubies, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
