Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

 Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:4,
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today Saturday 1/31/15

"Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!"  PSALM 103:22

The blessings of the LORD are always and everywhere, seen and unseen. When we consider the blessings poured out upon us from heaven above, we really only can grasp so much. How often do we thank the LORD for holding the sun and the stars in their orbits? How often do we give thanks to the LORD for wind patterns and water supplies? How many breaths do we take without even giving them a thought of thanks to the LORD for the air we breath? Rarely do we consider our functioning organs or the health of the blood in our veins. Deeper still is the soul within us. Our God loves us so much that He came to save our very souls! When we consider our LORD today, let us from the deepest part and with all our souls give thanks, and bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

"Praying always with all    prayer and supplication            in the Spirit."

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 20:4-5

The lazy man will not plow because of winter; he will beg during harvest and have nothing.

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.
