Calvary Chapel of LaGrange
Verse-By-Verse Through the Bible

Welcome!

Grace and peace to you.

We at Calvary Chapel of LaGrange invite you to join us as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

It is our desire to follow the example given to us by the early church in Acts 2:42, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Join us as we study the whole Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book and as we worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

Devotion For Today- Tuesday 2/9/16

"He has put a new song in my mouth- Praise to our God. "    PSALM 40:3

We were created to worship. Everyone worships someone or something. We know that children begin to hear and respond to the sounds and songs even while in our mother's womb. We are born with a song in our hearts. When we are born again, born in the Spirit, God puts a new song in our hearts; and that which is in the heart shall proceed from our mouths. O the joy of the new song! How can we keep from singing it?! And rather than letting it diminish; let us sing it with greater awe, with greater thankful, and with greater joy than ever before. Praise to our God! In Jesus name. Amen!

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Proverb for the Week    Proverb 25:19-20

Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth and a foot out of joint.

Like one who takes away a garment in cold weather, and like vinegar on soda, is one who sings songs to a heavy heart.
